Liz Swoboda    (AMAFA)

Liz Swoboda was born, educated and married in Vienna Austria and moved to Canada in 1954 with her husband. She has been studying Astrology since 1974, and is a founding member of the Edmonton Astrological Society.

Her studies of world religions and metaphysics began in the 1960's. This soon paved the way for her studies of Astrology, and she began taking classes with Chris McRae in  1974.

In 1996, she co-authored the book 'Astrology for the Traveler ~ Trip Charts' with Inge Lohse. Because of her extensive travels throughout Europe and North America, Liz was able to contribute her experience and research to the book.

Forever researching and gathering data, Liz practices Humanistic Astrology, and loves to counsel. Although a bit shy of the public platform, Liz can be prevailed upon to give lectures, especially when there is something new in her ongoing studies that she feels must be brought to other astrologers' attention.

Liz is presently concentrating her efforts upon the astrological study of weather patterns and has diligently gathered more than 10 years of data in this project.
