Libra is represented by the scales. The Libra Sun does not like to do much on its' own. Libras have a special need for companionship. The law of gravity states it takes two to ride the teeter-totter. Although they seek the co-operation of others, the Libra Sun will maintain their individuality, within the framework of their relationships. They demand that their partners work as hard as they do. The sun here seeks knowledge, new ideas and mental stimulation. The desire for harmonious relationships often puts them in the role of peacemaker. Libras have a strong sense of justice and fair play. Librans are especially adept at analyzing what is occurring in society around them and rarely take sides in a dispute, they would rather sit on the fence - wait until both parties have been heard - tempers calmed down and the air clears. Ruled by peaceful Venus, they rarely express anger, but when they do... it is like a tornado has gone through the area... they leave nothing unsaid. Forecast 2011 to 2012

Powerful Pluto moved into the sign of Capricorn at the end of November 2008. This aspect will present Libras with an array of obstacles to overcome. Pluto will stay in Capricorn until 2024, squaring your Libra Sun. This 16 year long transit will challenge your diplomatic skills and obstruct your natural ability to look at both sides of a dispute, without prejudice. Keeping the peace in your corner of the world will become very complicated.

Neptune will return to its' own sign of Pisces in February 2012 for the first time since its' discovery in 1846. Neptune is rarely found without his rose coloured glasses on. Neptune is idealistic about everything. Pisces is about faith and your inner strength and what you believe in. Pisces people are very spiritual and focus mainly on their inner journey through life, rather than the accumulation of material wealth. Libra is all about peace and harmony. Libra is about beauty through balance. This transit will have some profound effects on the Libra psyche - slowly adjusting your lenses to clarify on where to focus your energy - inner spiritual growth or outer materialistic growth. Ultimately Neptune will dissolve much of Libra's reality and structure - making room for artistic creative endeavours.

Innovative Uranus entered the dynamic sign of Aries on March 12, 2011. Uranus in Aries is direct and impulsive. Uranus in Aries has a pioneering, adventurous spirit that possesses the courage to risk everything in search for individual freedom. Libra is about relationships with others and the relationship we have with ourselves. Libra strives to preserve that balance in all their relationships.
