Capricorn Ingress 2009, Ottawa Ontario

The Ingress Sun in the 9th house puts Canada center stage in the eyes of the world. In particular, British Columbia as hosts of the 21st winter Olympic Games.

Capricorn Midheaven, ruler Saturn exalted in Libra in the 6th house of the labour force. Harper will need to wear his best diplomatic hat to maintain harmonious relationships.

Saturn is squared by the critical Ingress Sun at 0 Capricorn. The Sun sits in the 9th house of foreign countries and rules the 5th house of games. Problems arise with the Olympic Games. Mars Retrograde sits in the 5th and is quincunx Mercury in the 10th house of responsibility, revisions to some events will be necessary.

Venus rules the 2nd house of money and disposits Saturn. The government will need to help BC finance this prestigious event.

Cancer is on the 4th house of the opposition parties. The Moon is past the conjunct to both Jupiter and Neptune. The Moon is Void of Course (making no applying aspects), effectively limiting their abilities to oppose legislation brought forth by the Harper government. No election is indicated during this ingress, as the opposition parties are well aware that would severely disrupt the Olympic Games.

Mars in Leo rules the 1st house of the people, quincunx Mercury in Capricorn, ruler of the 3rd house. People’s opinions of the Harper government are changing.

Capricorn MC – Canada’s reputation and status quo is elevated globally. (Mercury in Capricorn in the 10th) The opening ceremonies of the Olympic Games are on February 12, 2010. Events begin on February 13th with a New Moon at 25 Aquarius conjunct the Ingress Neptune and Jupiter and Moon. The closing ceremonies will be held on February 28, 2010, coinciding with the Full Moon at 10 Virgo trine the Capricorn Ingress MC. As the full moon indicates, this culminates a job well done by the host country, and a very successful conclusion to the 21st Winter Olympic Games.
