Inge Lohse ~ EAS member since 1977

Inge Lohse was born in Murnau, Germany and emigrated to Canada in 1951 with her family. She has been studying Astrology since 1975, and is a founding member of the Edmonton Astrological Society.

As both a teacher and lecturer of Astrology, she enjoys researching the practical applications of astrology. In 1996, she co-authored the book 'Astrology for the Traveler ~ Trip Charts' the synopsis of her years of data gathering on this subject. As a pilot herself, she took on the challenge of numerous experimental trips under all kinds of planetary aspects, to generate a reliable source of information in this area.

The need to find a reliable source of weather information has also led her to study predictive weather analysis through astrology, and she has presented a number of discourses on this matter… leading no doubt, in the long term, to another book.

Without a doubt, Inge has been the most committed and tireless contributing member of E.A.S., serving on the executive committee for most of the 25 years that the society has existed. She has the most complete archive of the society's history. For many years now, Inge has provided her country home for the E.A.S. annual weekend retreat in June.

Besides her untiring efforts on behalf of the EAS, Inge is also a successful entrepreneur.
