Chris McRae ~ Astrologer

Chris McRae became a professional astrologer in 1971, and received her professional accreditation from the American Federation of Astrologers in 1974.

For many years, Chris lectured in many major cities in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and has appeared numerously on major convention faculties.

In 1982 she received the FCA Astrological Hall of Fame Uranus award for "Innovative Ideas and Outreach Nationally and Internationally".

From 1973-1982 she taught a six-semester course at Grant McEwen College which was the first college in North America to include Astrology in its Adult Extension Department. Altogether she has been teaching for almost 30 years.

McRae founded and was President several times of the Edmonton Astrological Society, and over the years has contributed to the Astrological Community by serving on various Board of Directors and Committees of International Astrological organizations. Chris is currently on the UAC Board of Directors, Vice-President of Isar, Chairperson of ISAR Certification Program, Co-Chair ISAR 2003 International Conference.

For many years, Chris was a favorite television and radio interviewee and open line guest, presenting the academic and psychological advantages of Astrology. For four years she appeared monthly on a TV show, presenting a professional yet popular approach to Astrology. From 1989 to 1995 she wrote a syndicated daily astrological column.

Chris continues to share her wealth of knowledge today as an active member of the EAS, international organizations, and her clients. Chris can be found lecturing at various conferences throughout the world, when she is not at her computer working on and developing new astrological concepts.
